Project Management

Structured Technical Engineer Production Methodology

Tango followed the principles within IS-9000 as a guideline and developed a highly effective methodology for the process of full-cycle software development. This facilitates transparent and comprehensive project management. The process can be easily monitored by Tango as well as the customer and provides checkpoints to ensure that all expectations are addressed and the project meets schedule and budget requirements.

Projects are organized into ten phases which are individually scheduled and budgeted, and are further characterized by clear task and deliverables.

Excellent software solutions begin by transforming a customer’s vision into technical requirements. This process must generate a “best-value” solution that is matched to the customer’s budget, schedule, user sophistication, existing systems, and the existing or desired IT environment.

Project Phases

Tango develops both a top level and detailed designs. Tango believes that a solid architecture is the critical foundation for system success. The proposed architecture is carefully crafted and reviewed, taking all the following issues into account.

  • Information sharing with other systems and users
  • Functional growth
  • Performance enhancement and responsiveness
  • Security, survivability, and redundancy
  • Ease of use
  • Reliability, maintainability, and supportability
  • Infusion of new technology
  • Scalability

Software design and development follow a structured approach that includes internal reviews and solution presentations with senior technical staff.
